Haunted Memories
Some places vibrate with an unexplainable frequency.
Maybe they are memories, deposited in the fabric of space and time, caught between this world and another. Like a residual energy of past lives, they never really disappear. Their imprints linger in this world, like twin particles that react to one another no matter the distance between them. What touches one, stirs the other.
Liam Wesley knows that feeling. Every corner of San Francisco feels too familiar. Like the past echo of his footsteps follows him in this life. Sometimes, a little too closely.
And then there’s the woman.
The one who haunts his dreams and his every thought. The one whose face flickers softly and gently at the edges of his memory. Her eyes hold a secret, one he knows he’s connected to, but can’t see through the blanket of fog.
Some say science can explain everything, but Liam would argue otherwise.
He’s devoted his life to studying what can’t be seen, measured, or touched. He researches the impossible, yet the impossible shows up in every aspect of his life.
He knows it more than déjà vu or a dream.
Maybe some things are connected more than we think. Maybe they are signs that the Universe is rewriting a story that never had a chance to fully unfold.
Read Liam’s journal entry, “The City Remembers,” now archived in The Haunting Hourglass.
Do you believe we can be drawn back to the same people across lifetimes to finish what we once began?

This is so cool! I do think our souls are connected on deeper levels than we understand, so definitely thing it's possible to reunite in other lifetimes.
